ABOUT ME.
In 2013, when I was 12 years old, my dad passed away from Stage 1 Leukaemia and my whole world changed. In an instant, everything became so much more precious to me; I have learned to turn life's most cruel lessons into positive outputs.
On the day of my dad's funeral, a butterfly flew into the church and landed on his coffin - despite it being a cold December afternoon. Ever since this day, my family and I have found comfort in believing that he is watching over us in the form of a butterfly. This symbol holds such a special place in my life, and acts as a reminder that my biggest supporter is still, and always will be, there to guide me through life.
I have always been an extremely creative individual, drawn to the non-linear things in life. I was able to flourish in that, through studying Art at GCSE and A-Level, which solidified my dreams of being a member of the wider creative industry.
Over the last 3 years studying Fashion Marketing and branding at NTU, I have been pushed to be my most creative self and have outdone myself more than I ever thought I could. I have been given the confidence and skills to believe in my abilities and embark on a new and exciting journey in life.
